Terms and conditions of sale

These terms govern every order placed on maison-soleil.shop. They are accepted at the moment of payment.

1. The seller

Seller: Maison Soleil, sole trader, 34 avenue Reille, 75014 Paris, France, contact@maison-soleil.shop. VAT not applicable under article 293 B of the French tax code.

2. The products

Maison Soleil sells framed metallic foil prints of public-domain works. The works come from museums' open collections and are free of rights. The photographs on the site represent the product as faithfully as possible; a screen cannot reproduce a metallic foil exactly.

3. Prices

Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included, delivery included for France and the European Union. Maison Soleil may change its prices at any time; the price that applies is the one displayed when the order is placed.

4. Order and payment

Payment is by card through Stripe. No card data passes through or is stored by Maison Soleil. The order is firm once payment is authorised, and a confirmation is sent by email.

5. Delivery

Lead times and terms are set out on the Shipping and returns page.

6. Withdrawal

Fourteen days from delivery, under articles L221-18 and following of the French consumer code. See the Shipping and returns page.

7. Guarantees

Legal guarantee of conformity (articles L217-3 and following) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 and following of the civil code).

8. Complaints and mediation

Complaints: contact@maison-soleil.shop. If a disagreement persists you may refer the matter free of charge to the European online dispute resolution platform, https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

9. Governing law

French law. The French courts have jurisdiction, subject to consumer protection rules.
